After the 2024 high school volleyball season, girls will be provided an opportunity to play on club teams to continue their growth and development. These 15 and 16 Power teams will be through Olympus Volleyball Academy (OVA).

Tryouts and Player Selection

The "tryouts" for these teams will be held sometime in July and will be consist of girls from the RHS Girls Volleyball Program. Additional girls can be added to the roster pending team needs. After tryouts, players will be selected based on age and skill level to participate on either the 15 or 16-year-old teams. 

Club Season Costs

For the 2024-25 season, the individual player cost is $2,061 that can be paid in full or split up into monthly payments of approximately $250. A $300 deposit is due at the time of registration and the monthly payments will start in September 2024 and end around March 2025. Players are responsible for purchasing their annual NCVA membership (approximately $75).

Practices and OVA Clinics

Practices will begin around mid-to-late December 2024 in the Roseville or Sacramento area. Most practices will be on Saturday's and will be between three to five hours. The teams will have additional skill-specific practices during the week. Before each tournament, we will increase the number of "prep practices." to "fine-tune" players and the team. For the Far Westerns tournament, anticipate approximately two to three weeks to prepare for this tournament. Sometime in October/November, OVA will host various clinics and communication for these will be sent by the club. 

Tournament Schedule

For the 2024-25 club season, the teams will only play in tournaments. The teams will not play in league because the teams tend to play the same teams. The teams will play in approximately six to eight tournaments and following is the schedule (this is subjected to change pending tournament availability):

• January - Redwood Rumble @ The Grounds (Roseville, CA)
• February - President's Day @ The Grounds (Roseville, CA)
• March - Capital Clash @The Grounds (Roseville, CA)
• April - NorCal Spring Classic @ The Grounds (Roseville, CA)
• April - Far Westerns (Reno, NV)
• May - Bayview Classic @ The Grounds (Roseville, CA)
• Other tournaments may include PVA/AAU @ Folsom Lake College
